A holistic postpartum
A postpartum doula supports the family in a variety of ways, easing the transition into parenthood.
This can look like:
-
breastfeeding support
-
infant care instruction
-
mental health support
-
processing your birth story
-
meal preparation and planning
-
light housekeeping and laundry
-
sibling care and adjustment support
-
babywearing education
-
and more!
my approach
I used to consider myself maternal-focused; I love mothering the mother. But now I align more with a family centered approach, so that everyone is seen, heard, and well taken care of. I'm all about systems and little hacks that set a family up for success.
To me the word holistic means we look at things from all angles. Perhaps your mental health is struggling and you're trying to find a therapist (which is amazing, I love talk therapy) but we will also be focusing on your sunshine exposure and nutrition, as this can play a HUGE role in postpartum mental health.

I would say I offer 'full spectrum' postpartum support (meals, cleaning, laundry, etc) except for the fact that I don't do overnights, as my own child needs me to be at home with him. As an advocate for biological mothering and safe bedsharing, I believe mamas and babies were meant to sleep together and that parents can get rest this way, but I'd be happy to refer you to an overnight doula if that's what you need!

what's included?
Complimentary interview to confirm we'd be a good fit, then the rest is up to you - I offer both package and à la carte options. I recommend texting me when baby arrives so we can address any challenges proactively, do not wait until you're struggling to reach out. You deserve to thrive in motherhood.
