Rounding up my favorite dinosaur gear and toys in honor of my dinosaur boy and his upcoming 4th birthday!
Gear:
Jan and Jul: lots of dinosaur clothing here! more importantly it's made for all weather play, with nontoxic materials. I'm picky about shoes and prefer barefoot shoes (wide toe box, thin, flexible sole, zero drop heel) and not all of their shoes fit that requirement. But otherwise a great brand! We have the dinosaur rain suit, winter boots, and wide-brimmed hat. When he outgrows his current swim wear, we'll add that to the collection! $$ off your first order here.
Therm Kids: I love that this brand is all about sustainability, with everything being made from recycled plastics, from the fabric to the packaging. Their clothes are also free from PFAs, PFCs, phthalates, and lead. Not to mention the secret pattern that appears when wet (SplashMagic line). 2 dino-themed prints available - T. Rexs on bikes and scooters or fossils.
Little Sleepies: made from breathable, hypoallergenic bamboo; the jurassic jungle print comes in both navy blue and pink.
Planet Box: If you are looking for high quality gear for meals on the go, this would be it. They have dinosaur lunch bags as well as magnets for the lunchbox. We have the shuttle lunchbox with dippers, pods, and puzzle pods, fits a charcuterie style lunch compactly!
Bentgo: They seem to have it all. Backpack, lunchbox (in BPA-free plastic or stainless steel options, I prefer the SS), waterbottle, utensils, and icepacks, all dinosaur themed.
Simple Modern: They have 2 different dinosaur patterns for their kids stainless steel water bottle, we have the 'dinosaur roar' one. Shop on Amazon here.
Wildkin: Get ready for school with stainless steel water bottles, nap mats, lunch bag, and backpack, all phthalate and BPA free. The umbrellas are cute but I'd skip the boots, again I only want barefoot shoes and these have a significant heel drop. Their bedding is 100% cotton; they also have beach gear, luggage, sleeping bags, and toiletry bags. I prefer toiletry bags with hooks, so you can use them in the car or on the plane for toys and snacks! Linking a few options.
Stephen Joseph: Similar to Wildkin, they have it all! My son loves his dino socks. The color changing umbrellas look cool, but I probably wouldn't buy the rainboots. For shoes that I do approve of, checkout this blog post on my travel domain.
Ten Little: Ten Little (my favorite affordable, barefoot kids shoes) has a variety of toys and gear in dinosaur patterns, and dino stickers for their shoes. My son loves the 'lava red' color! Use this link for $5 off your first pair. They also have lots of dino-themed toys!
Along with the lunch box gear, these picks would be so fun. We used these for his party last year!
Collection of toys:
Baby Dinosaurs (I use these for all of my DIY dinosaur eggs, I'll round up our favorite activities and recipes in another post)
Last but not least: Carriers!
How fun are these fabrics?! Linking the mesh baby carrier, toddler, and preschool-sized. Perfect for hiking, traveling, or an older child who just really loves to be held.
